SEAS is a group of Sailors.  We are here to teach you how to sail and to match Boat Owners with Crew. We give classroom sessions in New Jersey and sometimes NYC.  Class includes two days of sailing instruction on the water to practice what you have learned.   All instructors are Red Cross Certified. Lesson fees are very reasonable.  We also own a 27' Catalina Sloop docked on the Hudson River in Haverstraw that we race on Wednesday nights.  Our members sail the Catalina the rest of the week. Westchester Sail and Power Squadron ("WSPS") is part of the United States Power Squadron ("USPS"), the world's largest private, non-profit boating organization. Westchester was awarded its Charter in February, 1937. The majority of our members are drawn from Central and Southern Westchester County.
